Hello Peter

You have certainly found yourself a gem :woohoo:. In my oppinion this is one of the most desired vehicles for a Playmobil fire enthusiast . If your going to make yourself a new light mast i would keep the old one intact :)9. I think this is quite a rare piece to find intact (the light mast):yup:.

Greetings Tim

Babel Fish Translation:

Hello Peter

OH MY  :yippee:! That's the type of fire engine I have been looking for, the elusive 3526  :wow:! A few years back I had 3 of them that I paid a pretty penny for MIB, but it was so worth it ! I had to end up selling them on ebay for a loss  :'(! Once you have them you always are wanting to have them again! Do you need instructions for your unit I can send you a copy if you need it? The parts are discontinued, but you can find the spot lights on the Playmo spaceship, & space transporters also on ebay. Also it came with a yellow life raft, & equipment from set #3491. Congratulations on your find!

A great buy, Peter.  The floodlight from the 3178 trailer will fit, I think.

Congratulations Peter! That is a fine looking rig, I am not familiar with the various fire sets but a nice looking rig is a nice looking rig.

A great buy, Peter.  The floodlight from the 3178 trailer will fit, I think.

And if it does, so will the smaller floodlights from the rally trailer - here's a link:

What kind of ladder are you missing, Noodwachter?

I might have a spare one that you can have.

Bogro

Bogro,
From what I can remember, it takes a ladder designed like the 30035250 dark grey, this ladder will not match the top side railings light grey color from my notes, & needs to be light grey in color. The instructions don't show any other part number for the small ladder, chassis parts, flashing light lenses, raft, oars, etc.

These are the only part numbers it does show:

decal sheet part number is 3080028
roof railing lt grey set number is 3002050
red side hose reels & turn knobs set number is 3060453 x2
red retractable stabilizer round tops, 4 in a set are 3002071
red side stabilizer body stem 3002027 x4
red winch assembly 3060218
water cannon & spot light mast/pole grey colored parts 3060456
water cannon nozzle & spot light lenses chrome 3060454
water cannon handle, spot light housing x2, & spot light housing holders x2 black color 3060455

The large side hose reels should slide out from the compartment bed revealing a knob like used on the 3525 ladder truck to rotate the ladder turntable, but for the pumper engine they are used to turn the hose reel in or out.

I hope this helps.

Nice new addition to your fleet Peter . I sure hope Playmobil will make something like this with their new rescue line and stay away from the disappointing  American fire engine . I like your brick building with the tile roof, it looks very well made .

If it's dark grey - metallic colour; then I have one lying around for you (it is like the one in Bill's pictures).

Just let me know if you're interested  ;)

Very nice details in your setup/customes, especially the four sector rescue emblem. And I also like your training building. Not just a plain front set up but also have some edges and ledges.

The four sector rescue decal came on the original decal sheet from Playmobil.

Excellent custom engine modifications Noodwachter72  :wow:!

Oh, really? Didn't know (must be before my collection starting time).

Look at the Collectobil site under rescue theme for items #3526 & #3525. 3525 was available from 1981 thru 1987, & 3526 was available from 1981 thru 1984. Both items shared the same decal sheet during production, & the 4 section decal was shown used on both in the pictures. I really like the 3525, & 3526 version fire trucks, but they are rare, & expensive to obtain.

Ah, okay, as you mentioned it is recognizable on the small collectobil pics (and a little bit less recognizable in the collector). And indeed it was quite at the end of my active Playmobil  playing phase (never have owned one) and before my collecting period.

The logo is quite interesting because I have never seen it in Germany on rescue vehicles but it is used by firemen as sticker on their private cars and in case of promotion events of the fire rescue units as logo on flyers or presentation walls. I'm not sure if this is an international emblem, because so far I have only seen it in Germany, so I was even more surprised to see this on the custom scenery. Now having the information that's an original Playmobil part I do not wonder anymore.

Anyway, to come back to the photos again: what is under the green cover of the trailer at the background vehicle? A boat?

I've just remembered that there was a small version of the emblem to stick on the klickies themselves.  I may still have a klicky with the emblem on somewhere.
