D-DAY ... 64 years ago today.
Sir Winston Churchill, "...The battle that has now begun will grow constantly in scale and in intensity for many weeks to come, and I shall not attempt to speculate upon its course. This I may say however. Complete unity prevails throughout the Allied Armies. There is a brotherhood in arms between us and our friends of the United States."
D-Day was the beginning of the end of Word War II.
Let us all reflect upon this "news-flash" from so long ago. And, let us all hope and pray that all wars will be replaced by soldiers holding flowers instead of guns ...
