i am even starting to like the spanish theme :wow:

great - they have been making a lot of noise about it and I am incredible curious to it as well!

The movie before the game started was hilarious! My connection (300 kb/s) was too slow to play the game. But, the movie was better than the game anyway!
Incidentally, "Booty Bill" sounds funny in American slang. It suggests Bill is a womanizer....

Have to say I'm pretty impressed with the quality of production (animation, camera angle, sound, story line, game-tie-in - which applies to The Wooden Sword as well). In comparison, the latest offering from Lego's online games seem to be written by some 1st semester Flash programming students (in particular the 'new' knights catapult game) - seriously!
Notice the two stowaways in the last scene? Part 2 I hope ;)
My kids and I are really looking forward to Playmobil seriously consider producing a series of animation shorts, be it online or DVD.

Wow! I just got a chance to see this! It is beautiful.
The kids and I loved watching it - we enjoyed the video more than the actual game I think. The only shame is that it is not downloadable so I can watch it as often as I like. :(
-
mmm ... you made me think Mon Capitaine.
Wouldn't it be great if Playmobil would just put all those games and movies and such on a DVD or CD-Rom? It would be great to play them anywhere!

Indeed, that would be terrific! In fact, I do not know why they are NOT available as free downloads from Playmobil - they are basically advertisements for their products.
When my wife saw the pirate ship lower its sides to reveal the hidden cannons, she said "That is SOOOO cool!" - and she is not the Playmoholic in the family. Imagine the FREE publicity for Playmo from having people download and share the games... Just a thought...

Congratulations for your wife, Captain Henry!
I think there is a lot of potential to playmobilize her. ;)
And, as a pirate should know, it IS possible to download all these PM games...
In the moment where all parts are loaded to your computer (5 in this case!),
they all lay in your temp internet files directory...
...waiting for you to copy them into an archive and hold them for ransom. 8-)

fwiw I use this to play the *.flv files "retrieved" from my temp directory (eg, bb1_seq01_700kb[1].flv) :

The game itself (bb1_inGame[1]) is a *.swf file and you can drag-n-drop into a browser window to play.

Thanks Socrates and Core. I had thought about doing that, but I am not that familiar with flv and swf files. But, I am a FAST learner! :D
