Hello All
Well i knew the time would have to come sooner or later so i decided that it was now or never. It was the topic to do with Klickie Me's and Avatars that really made my mind up and i decided it was time i provided Jochen some pictures of Derrick my Avatar. I don't know if there are many members here that can remember Derrick and how bad he is. Unfortunately Derrick is quite mad, but its ok because he doesn't know it, infact he thinks everyone else is mad. Most of the time Derrick prefers to be left inside his cell with his mice, but sometimes he is unleashed for some fresh air. The thing with Derrick is that he gets difficult if he doesn't want to be moved and tends to get up to mischief. This was one of those occasions and Derrick was quite adamant that he wasn't going to help Jochen because he hadn't been properly introduced before . The guards had to coax him into leaving his cell with as little hassle as possible. Here is what happened this morning when Derrick was approached to help.

Derrick likes his lie in on Sunday mornings, maybe this wasn't the best time to approach him. You see Derrick is not a morning person and he can be quite grumpy.
-
Hmmmmm it probably wasn't the best idea to shout to get him to wake up, he is smiling now, that's allways a bad sign.
-
Oh no, he has gone for his toilet bucket, he must be in a really bad mood. I dont think this is an 'empty' threat either (excuse the pun ::))
-
Rrrrrrraaaaaaaa GO AWAY !!!
-
Oh dear the guard gets it right in the face, ::)
-
Umm yes Derrick we get the message.
-
Derrick has decided to help Jochen, now he has done his little display. The only thing is its going to be on his terms
Here is the picture of Derricks Trousers that you were after Jochen  I hope you enjoyed the little story and are now quite familiar with Derrick the Insane Klicky .
Kindest Regards Tim

Nice story, Tim. It certainly made me .
And a nice little setting for the photos, too. Very nicely done.
Whereabouts does the "sheaf" for Derick's pillow come from, please?
Nice to see you back, too.

Hello Gordon
Thank you very much for the kind feedback. I am sorry i haven't been in touch for a while. I will PM you a little bit later on to catch up.
I am not sure where the 'Sheaf' actually comes from, i had a box with medieval parts in and i was going through it for some plates for the story. It just jumped out at me and i thought that it would be really good for the pillow, i couldn't really have asked for anything better to be honest. I will have a dig around and find out where it comes from. I am sure it must have come from one of the Castle Set's, i had quite a lot of accessories lying about from the two Castles which i put into this box.
Kindest Regards Tim

That certainly brightened up my Sunday :D
I had no idea Derrick was so naughty. :o Thanks for the story, Tim. ;D
I have some of those wheat sheaves, Gordon. Very handy accessory for a medieval or farm setting. :yup:
And a clever idea to use it as a pillow - would never have thought of it!

Handy, too, for a field fire! I must add some to my DS order when they confirm the cost.
I agree - a very clever use of it as a pillow.

Hello Bogro, Sylvia and Gordon
Thank you very much for the kind feedback. It was a spur of the moment thing really, something i just decided to do today after a PM from Jochen. I thought i might be able to turn it into a story, Derricks comeback has been a long time coming. I am sure there will be quite a few more story's featuring Derrick and his mice in the future. Infact i think i will be calling on your assistance to help us find out where the mice are coming from
The sheaf for the pillow just came from no where, as soon as i saw it in the box i thought pillow, i wasnt actually looking for a pillow at the time all though i needed one
Tim
PS: Thank you Sylvia for finding the sheaf and its part number for Gordon, i was pretty sure it came from a medieval set :)
-
The sheaf doesn't look like it's Playmobil to me, i mean the ones i have are thicker/fuller and have a "handle"on the other side.
The story was great, loved it!

 Thanks Tim for this nice story. Very humoristic and very well executed. I especially like the realistic touch when the guard is hit by ... well don't let go into the details ... and when he's getting up again.
Very valuable the second last pic, because in the previous ones I didn't spot the yellow stripe on the trousers side.
-
Hm, I found about 10 leg pieces of correct color and shape in my spare parts boxes, but all without the yellow stripe. Where is this special piece from? :-\
-
I think the mice are multi-dimensional beings that are studying humans in a laboratory context. Maybe not.
Love the story! ;D
-
I loved the"Derick-story"!But I have to say,in my job that would be a slow day ;D!Anyway, great pictures! :)

I think it's a Confederate (Southern) American Civil War officer. I'll have a look in my parts box.
-
lovely story tim.
it reminds me very much of john frankenheimer's movie "birdman of alcatraz" with burt lancaster as a bird (instead of mice) loving prisoner.
thanks.
:wow:

Thank you all for the very kind feedback. I mentioned to Derrick that he had a new following of fans and he was quite pleased !! I passed by his cell this evening and there was quite a commotion, which is unusuall as he is normally very quiet . It turns out that he got himself in trouble with the mice again, you can see the results of the investigation in my next story !! I hope you enjoy it as much as this one :)
Gordon is spot on, the trousers are from a Confederate soldier :)
Kindest Regards Tim

And as yet I've drawn a blank for any spares, but I haven't looked upstairs yet; I will tomorrow.
