Title: Are all Western Cannons smooth-bored?
Post by: GrahamB on December 30, 2016, 19:35:18
I have two Western cannons with different barrels. They are similar in size and both fit the Western cannon carriages, but one has a smooth barrel and the other has two parallel internal flanges.

Can anyone help me work out which of the cannons in the 13 Western sets with cannons (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=3057,3244x,3419,3729,3784,3812,4072,7257,7268,7317, 7320, 7619,7683;title=Your%20Set%20List) have smooth bores and which have the flanged barrel?

I also have a ramrod with two grooves (presumably for a cannon with internal flanges) which I cannot find in PlaymoDB- any suggestions?(http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a621/GrahamB2013/IMG_9097_zpswsxagksx.jpg)

The smooth cannons were the earliest I'm sure.

I, too, had a flanged ramrod.
