Cervantes´ Don Quichot (Quichotte/Quixote/Quixote) & Sancho Panza
I thought of asking Arnaud for a customized helmet but decided in the end to use the most suitable original Playmobil one available.
As Sancho is usually potrayed as a short fat guy and the Don as a tall fellow, I used dwarf-legs on Sancho to emphasize the hight-difference between the two.

The figures are spot on, Hadoque, just as they should be.

Absolutely brilliant Hadoque. This is the best of the DQ customs I have seen. GNOMES ARE U WATCHING.
My goodness if this does not become an actual set my faith in Homo sapiens may begin to wobble ever so slightly.

Very nice. :)

Thanks :)
Here a photo from a slightly different angle and with natural lighting, looks a bit better I think...

so recognizable that even a more accurate hat would not make any difference...well done! :)

Fantastic!

Great.

Looks wonderful Erwin. It's one place where I think i would prefer the old style horse and donkey over the newer styles. Just feels like it should be more traditional - they should have made this set decades ago.

You mean generation 1 or 2?
I´ve considered gen. 1 but decided to go with the latest gen. 3, I don´t like the gen. 1 donkey very much (it´s legs are too fat ihmo).
Horses from gen. 2 I find unsuitable here as those look/are smaller, more like mules I think. (In case of a medieval battle or tournament one must do with gen. 1 or 2, as there are no gen. 3 horses yet with the right gear) And the gen. 2 donkey has a fatter "torso" then the gen. 3, personally I prefer the latter for usage together with horses...

That´s really great!

Like that - really nice. :)

I was definitely meaning Gen 1 horse and donkey. Yes the old donkey has fat legs but the style is more compatible with the gen 1 horse.
