Title: SEVEN - A Victorian story!
Post by: PCV106 on November 30, 2015, 18:23:09
Hello everybody,
Today I've decided to present to you one of my story - diorama!
This is a diorama that I made last year and took lots of my time
to complete and get ready to show it to my playmobil friends and fans.
(Maybe some people, from you guys have already seen it in other sites!)
Hope you'll enjoy it! I also hope to see some comments...  8}

Friendly, Vasiliki

Ps. I will show you few images every 2-3 days!

South England 1915
We're in a small town called Suncity, at the south area of England, 300 klm south west of London.
The 7:00 pm train have just arrived at the local train Station. Each arrival or departure of a train always brings changes to its train stop.
What changes will this train bring to this city's people? Come with me to find that out!

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_200_zpskhfmv8cg.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_200_zpskhfmv8cg.jpg.html)
Hot spring weather. But when you're in England you'll never know. An umbrella is always a must have. Just like that one. Over there. The yellow one that this gentleman holds. With the newspaper and the book. He is the new priest of the local St.Gregory's church, Father John. When he was 8 years old, his mother died and his father send him to Playmohill's orphanage. He was tought by nuns so when he grew up, he devoted himself to the Anglican Church.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_100_zpsiear3khv.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_100_zpsiear3khv.jpg.html)
Sister Mary waits for him, at the train station. He came to welcome Father John and show to him, his new church. Last priest of the city's church, was a very venerable old man that knew and loved little John. He had asked bishop to send Father John in charge of Suncity's church, after his death. And that's what happened afterall...

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_100_zpsjlnezdll.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_100_zpsjlnezdll.jpg.html)
The real reason, though, that convinced Father John to move to this town was different. Just a month ago, he recieved Suncity's local newspaper with a very strange advertisement printed on it, that was pointed out with a red circle around so that Father John wouldn't have missed to read it. The advertisement "asked for a Godsend Punisher!" Who was the one who asked such a thing? Who send to Father John the newspaper? Why was the one choosen? Those were a few of the questions that Father John had and he couldn't find his piece again. It was just like someone played a game with him...

Such beautiful photographs - you are so talented!  The stones under the train track are wonderful.

And I'm so curious to know what is happening.  I hope that the next part comes soon!

Days go by nice and easy for Father John and he forgot all about the newspaper and that strange advertisement. One morning, after finishing the church's morning praising, he went to a bakery cafe .Father John really enjoyed to spend time with his flock outside the church's area and get to know them better. The place was really wonderful. There was a splendid smell in the air from fresh butter and Indian spices. Father John looked at the other customers but the view from the window took his breath. He could see the city's heart from there...

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_2_zpsu5caof7h.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_2_zpsu5caof7h.jpg.html)
Sweet and kind Mrs.Abigail welcomed Father John to her place with a wide smile. She offered him a cup of aromatic tea and a piece of her fluffy cake with forest fruits that she collects them all by herself from the nearby forest.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_3_zpsadctfin1.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_3_zpsadctfin1.jpg.html)
Sometime later, an elegant lady entered the cafe, looking rather upset. She was holding a white handkerchief. She went close to Mrs. Abigail and she asked her for a lot of her goodies. Cake, Pudding, Cookies, Bread and so on... Mrs. Abigail gave her all of these, talking to her comforting.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_4_zps3jk72avd.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter2_4_zps3jk72avd.jpg.html)
Just a short while after that lady closed the cafe's door, Mrs Abigail came close to me and spoke of how much sorry she is for the lady. She confided in me the lady's sad story. That lady married two years before a man called Mr. Bakewell. That man was only interesting in food. Every day he was eating vast amounts of food without seems ever feeling fulfilled with it. That lady looked really miserable. "He must be a greedy one" noticed Father John.

Title: Re: SEVEN - A Victorian story!Unfortunately the chief editor had no much to say
Post by: PCV106 on December 05, 2015, 18:52:32
Well hello again...
Let's go further...
 :sleigh:

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_1_zpsvag3jzeo.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_1_zpsvag3jzeo.jpg.html)
Two days after this event, Father John had accepted the same newspaper with the following advertisement notified again: “Godsend Punisher asked – For information search here!” This time, Father John was certain that the advertisement was not a joke and the only thing that he could think for the “information” stated in the newspaper is to ask at the local newspaper office.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_2_zpsvoh9sreu.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_2_zpsvoh9sreu.jpg.html)
There, he was sure that someone could tell him more about the person who asked for this advertisement to be printed. Without losing any more time, he went directly there and asked the secretary for the chief editor…

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_3_zpska3kjxs2.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter3_3_zpska3kjxs2.jpg.html)
Unfortunately the chief editor had no much to say to Father John. The advisement came to the newspaper office by mail without an address of a sender written on the envelope. The editor could have chosen not to post it as he though himself to be a joke as well but there was a “big” money check with it. The amount was big enough for the editor to ignore… He also said to Father John that the letter came directly from someone who lived in the town, someone who had no money issue…

Next day, the vicar had to visit the warehouse that stands next to the train station. He had received a telegraph from his old landlady that his belongings would arrive within the day. On his way, he stopped at an outdoor floral stand and Mrs. Flora offered him a small flower. She told him that Mr. Crow is the boss of the warehouse and that he was the one who could serve him. She also told him to be careful with Mr. Crow as “He seems to have a hot temper!”

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_20_zpslelxzjrr.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_20_zpslelxzjrr.jpg.html)
Mr.Crow is a middle age man, rather tall with a tough face. He wears a red vest and has a blue round hat on his head. Father John observed him for a while from the point he stood. Mrs. Flora had spoken right! The warehouses’ boss screamed and got mad every time each of the staff asked him something. He asked him about his belongings. Mr. Crow looked at Father John with a cruel glance. He responded by telling him that his stuff had already been loaded on the blue truck.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_30_zpsgdnebkey.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter4_30_zpsgdnebkey.jpg.html)
He called for the truck driver, told him directions and asked the priest to sign for some papers. Both of them, immediately left for Father John’s new house. In the truck, he thought again of the warehouse’s leader and just one word came to his mind for Mr. Crow: Wrath!

(unfortunately there're no comments but I will continue telling my story for once more...
Maybe some follow this post and are being shy  :hmm:)

....

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_11_zpsfuuu3ypu.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_11_zpsfuuu3ypu.jpg.html)
After Sunday’s church’s praising and psalms, Father John wanted to meet the city’s children. So he visited the city’s playing ground next to the market. While talking to some of the parents he couldn’t have missed and noticed one special lady who her face looked so pleased when looking at the children. She was near them playing with all and having fun telling them jokes. The lady’s name was Miss Dixie. She was a “rather” old young “miss” and she had no children of her own.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_21_zpsidpmatb6.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_21_zpsidpmatb6.jpg.html)
When a new born came with its mother and its big sister she run towards them with a spark in her eye but when her look fall over his mother, Father notified jealousy in her brown eyes. “Could this lady be an envy person as well as jealous?”, that is a question that came spontaneously in Father’s mind…

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_31_zpsetxzflfy.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter5_31_zpsetxzflfy.jpg.html)
He started to chat with her and he found out that the lady was rather unlucky in her relationships with men. She was a daughter of a well known and wealthy English family but until now, she never managed to get married and have her own children. Of course, at her current age, at the end of her forties, she had no much hope for this…

A Victorian story, with such beautiful pictures. It has the look and feel of those scenes on the back of Playmobil boxes in the eighties. You can really tell that you've put a lot of effort in every scene. I really like the signs you made and how you position the clickies.

The lighting and those backgrounds are stunning, did you really shoot your dioramas outside? Or are you very handy with photoshop?

I look forward to reading more  :)  I haven't been around much because of my newborn baby, but I sure hope the story continues so I have a lot to read up on when I get a chance.

Yes my dear birdie. My dioramas are always made outside in my balcony. I shoot pictures with a natural light, then I use photoshop when needed to make them look more natural...

Late at the next noon, around 12 o’clock Father John headed for the city’s main market. Outside of it, at the small square and while happy clowns have come to advertise their tonight’s show, famous “Circus Romani”, Father’s glance fall over at a rather awkward event. Two police officers were yelling at a poor beggar.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter6_2_zpsvtxxfimv.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter6_2_zpsvtxxfimv.jpg.html)
He approached them and asked politely for the reason. The officers speaked for him in such a nasty way. They said that this man have lost everything in his life because of his laziness and now begs for others people kindness. He lost his fortune, his job, his family and became an alcoholic mumper. Sloth is a big sin for Mr. Benjamin.

At the markets entrance, Father John met the city’s mayor. He has just invited John for dinner at his place this evening. Father accepted with joy.

Father John arrived at the Mayors mansion late at 8o’clock at that evening. The family of Lord Harry Edmond was one of the most old and famous families of the city. Every year each and one of the male members of it were chosen as Mayor from the city’s citizens. This year, things where about to change.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_2_zpsgjaoxpvg.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_2_zpsgjaoxpvg.jpg.html)
Lord Edmond has a daughter. Misses Madeline Edmond. Since she was a young girl, it was obvious that this girl would be different from the other girls of her age. Her restless and ambitious spirit would drove her in different directions. Her father, being incapable to resist to every will of his lonely child, send her to the best schools, brought to her the best teachers and offered her everything that a child, a teenager, a young lady could ever imagine. He never said “No” to her…

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_3_zpsxe11ad1m.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_3_zpsxe11ad1m.jpg.html)
The thing that now Misses Medeline wishes for is to be the first female Mayor of the city. Father John met that “different” type of woman during the dinner that Lord Edmond offered to him at the night of Wednesday of 23 of May 1915.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_4_zpspydejctk.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter8_4_zpspydejctk.jpg.html)
That lady was rather snob! She looked at her fellow diners with a superior look! She couldn’t stop showing off her abilities and cleverness in such a way that one could really become mad about it. She talked to the mansions stuff in an offensive way. Father John though “that sometimes too much love for the children can really create monsters”. For sure that creature was a woman of arrogance!

That starry night, on his return to his home, Father John started to connect all these peculiar people that he met during the last couple of weeks at his new place of residence. There were 5 people, each one of them have one special nasty feature. GREED, RAGE, ENVY, SLOTH, ARROGANCE. Five sins of his faith. All of a sudden, he had a crazy thought about all these. Could this be possible for all these 5 people to connect with that advertisement on the newspaper? Could it be that Father John is the person that was asked for? The Godsend Punisher? Who was playing games with him?

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter9_2_zpsstxvwhtv.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter9_2_zpsstxvwhtv.jpg.html)
His thoughts were interrupted by an awkward scene in the silent street. Next to the warehouses and the train station, he saw something that couldn’t except to see in that quiet suburban town. A woman dipped into sin of lust, a man, a paid love. There under the lamp’s light, a sinful transaction was taking place in front of the bishop’s eyes...

Well hello to you all!
Thank you so much for wonderful comments.
I'm ready now to show you some more...

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_1_zpschmq2veb.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_1_zpschmq2veb.jpg.html)
At the next morning, Father John while looking at his flock, things seemed to be clearer in his mind. Well known, wealthy families with their small children or grandchildren, all peaceful and peaceable people. Who could be the one to have such a nasty plan in his head? It was impossible for his yesterday night’s thoughts to be real. Everything would be just a joke!

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_2_zpsrakbdfjl.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_2_zpsrakbdfjl.jpg.html)
At his confessional, two persons have already passed. Their sins were of no great importance. A small sly thought, a quandary for true or lie, things like that. Father John helped his people by telling them to look deeply in their hearts to find the truth and to follow God’s way. His folk were leaving from the church having piece in their hearts! But the next and last confession shook Father John…

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_3_zpsqb1azdic.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_3_zpsqb1azdic.jpg.html)
There was a lady half aged and from the high society. She confessed to Father John her problem. She was a deeply godfeared lady who’s luck brought her in marriage with Mr. Farell, a wholesaler that her Father imposed her to marry. Mrs Farell was telling Father John that lately her husband had lost his mind. The only thing that he cared about was his money and how he could be richer! He was working stopples, organizing business with other merchandisers and seeing foreign people in his house, people not always reputable.

(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_41_zpsqsx9gabt.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter10_41_zpsqsx9gabt.jpg.html)
These facts were upsetting Mrs Farell but the most annoying thing for her was that lately, he didn’t even share the same bedroom with her. He was literately moved to their mansion’s attic. In there Lord Farell was spending his nights counting his fortune every night: Fabulous riches and treasures. Diamonds and gemstones that was quite a strange thing of how he managed to gather them all. His greediness made Mr. Farell a sick man! Another sinner in the city!

Hello
and Merry Christmas to all  :xgift: :xtree: :sleigh:

Here we go a little bit further to my story...

The vicar got really upset after the last confession! He was now certain that someone, knowing about these 7 persons – these 7 sinners, was indirectly asking for him to take action. Those adverts were written on purposed and those newspapers weren’t sent incidentally to him. He had to run, to find out who was the one with that plan in his mind. In hurry, almost in panic, he went out to the church’s courtyard, talked for a bit to sister Mary and left.
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_1_zpsb1meq4sx.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_1_zpsb1meq4sx.jpg.html)

The sky from sunshine became suddenly cloudy and a wild wind started to blow when the coachman took along Father John. Where will he go? From what to start his search?
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_2_zpsxsjm3mro.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_2_zpsxsjm3mro.jpg.html)

He thought of the 7 sinners:
1.   Arrogance - Misses Medeline
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_310_zpssip4upm8.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter11_310_zpssip4upm8.jpg.html)

2.   Envy - Miss Dixie

The rain started to fall rapidly. The coach was running fast. And Father’s John mind and heart was running fast too. There must be something for him to do to help those people. There must be something for him to help this city relieving from its sins…

Time for Second Part...
Time for punishment!

3 MONTHS LATER...
In the last three months, many things have changed at Suncity. Quite often the citizens
where gathering all together to discuss about mysterious accidents that were taking place.
Gossiping was all around town!
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_2000_zpsvhz1zceu.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_2000_zpsvhz1zceu.jpg.html)

First accident was for Mr. Crow. The poor chief storekeeper fall into the electrified train tracks and died almost immediately.
It was a strange and tragic way for someone like Mr. Crow to die like this as he had spend all his lifetime in that warehouse,
just next to the train tracks.
Someone spoke that Mr. Crow being again full of wrath with another employee did not notice a piece of cord that was joining two storage boxes,
he stumbled upon it and fall on to the deadly tracks...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_3000_zpsq6mj4edx.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_3000_zpsq6mj4edx.jpg.html)

Then it was the death of the glutton Mr.Bakewell. It was during at one of his famous sumptuous meals while he was eating
a whole roasted chicken. At a moment, one small piece of chicken bone stood at Mr. Bakewell's throat in front of the eyes of his frightened young girl. Mr. Bakewell did not manage to breathe again...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_4000_zpsy2kaau9n.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_4000_zpsy2kaau9n.jpg.html)

Afterwards something really awful happened that no one excepted for that capable but arrogant lady.
It was just after Misses Madeline Edmond's speech on a city's central balcony that she had that terrible
deadly accident. Being herself so much enchanted by the citizens applause she stood on the balcony's banister.
The banister was old and rusty, it couldn't hold the weight of the young lady, it fell off drifting Misses Madeline
along its long & high way...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_5000_zpsbegb1clm.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_5000_zpsbegb1clm.jpg.html)

{oh my! What's really happening???}

Great pictures though, I really like what you did with the rain and lightning.

Thank you Rhalius! Sometimes fate is not compined with justice...
Anyways,
lets see what happened next...

Early at one morning, Mrs Abigail found in front of her store's steps, Miss Dixie lying down with a nasty wound in the back of her head. Unfortunately jealous Miss Dixie was already dead. She must have slipped because of the rain that has fallen that day, and she left her last breath just across her favorite playground...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_6000_zpstakm7ybo.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_6000_zpstakm7ybo.jpg.html)

Next death was not just an accident. It was an accident but a crime as well at the same time! Nobody was actually surprised for that. Everyone in the city, knew about the wealthiness of Mr. Farell. A thief knew that too and tried to steal the rich wholesaler. Of course Mr. Farell was not too fool not to have a gun, but he was very unlucky while trying to stop the robber, his gun detonated and killed Mr. Farell himself with a bullet straight in his heart!!!
The robber got afraid and left immediately and his wife found the greedy rich man lying dead and alone among his money and gold...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_7000_zpss8oifs6e.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_7000_zpss8oifs6e.jpg.html)

Last but not least another ugly happening took place. Lots of people, especially men used to like the young Mary-Jane.
They felt for her when Mrs Flora at the early time of opening her outdoor shop found her lying on a bench just next to the market's side entrance. She called for the police - officers but there wasn't left to be done for poor Mary-Jane. She had probably been on another date of lust but it seems that something went wrong and her lover strangled her with her own red scarf...
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_8000_zpsllsbhsyy.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_8000_zpsllsbhsyy.jpg.html)

Father John is ready to board on the 7:00 train. Its the same train that brought him to Suncity just only 70 days ago.
His work here is now over. And the only thing that its left is to leave town...
Just on time. the train whistled!
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_1000_zpshnpt95qi.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_1000_zpshnpt95qi.jpg.html)

Just around the corner, Sister Mary was called to come and see what the saxophone player found at the church's yard.
It has been since last night that the musician was trying to find Mr. Benjamin. He found him next to thousands of empty
wine bottles! Next to him was a piece of paper with a simple phrase written on it "I DID IT ALL. Sloth is not my sin anymore"
It seems that Mr. Benjamin committed suicide... Is that so?
(http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w539/Vasiliki106/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_9000_zpsb4norng3.jpg) (http://s1328.photobucket.com/user/Vasiliki106/media/The%207pm%20Train/Chapter12_9000_zpsb4norng3.jpg.html)

What do you think happened afterall dear followers?
Did Mr. Benjamin committed suicide?
Were these all ungly accidents?
Is Father John in any way complicated in any way with the fate of those people?
Just share your opinion,if you like!
Thanks for watching!

It does seem that father John did it, too convenient that he leaves right after this and they all died shortly after each other.

I especially feel sorry for poor miss Dixie. She seemed so nice to kids even though she didnt have any. Reminds me of my oldest sister who finally got blessed with a wonderfull baby boy last year, shortly before turning fourty, and had trouble finding a good healthy relationship untill two and a half years ago.
She always liked kids though, and she did want to have kids of her own.

Hello Rhalius,
I feel sorry for miss Dixie too.  She did loved children very much but its not good to be jealous of their mothers.
of course when I think of all of the rest, I'm not sure that everyone needed a second chance...
For example, maybe Mr. Benjamin was very lazy but never hurt anyone else...
what I'm saying is that I could find reasons to feel sorry for every person in my story...
But let's not forget that the story took place during another century. Things were harsh those times.

Anyway, thank you for your comment!
I'm happy to hear about your sister. I'm glad she is now a mother and I'm sure she is a great one!

Hmmmm...Some seem likely to be crimes, but others seemed very much accidents. The real clue is the suicide note. Why leave a note so specific as that? There wasn't anything public to link together the crimes prior to that piece was there?

True about the feeling that you get whether the ends of those people were crimes or accidents.
The real clue though is that all these people are sinners!  ::)
