Post by: VicKlicktor on July 07, 2015, 16:30:20
Hello,

Can anyone tell me which set this snake is from?

4530 - Evil Witch (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4530)

Is it a walking stick disguised as a snake, or a snake disguised as a walking stick?

That's been on my wanted list forever. I hadn't ever considered it an animal so much as an accessory shaped like an animal. But the way you have it in the photo it does look like it could count.

Thanks! Now everything makes me sense. I remember now why I bought the Evil Witch long time ago. I just took the snake but they are together again.
Walking stick or a snake? I think both. A paradox that only black magic can explain...

Please, that snake must count in your splendid guide animobil

One of the few figures that looks really impressive from the back.

And it will be in a future update, I just won one off eBay. More than I would have liked to have paid but the prices on this set haven't been going down at all and they seem unlikely to re-release it. So I went ahead and got it - two of my collecting themes in one go - animals and Halloween.

This piece should come back like the wrap-around snake has recently; it could be released with a Fi?ure also. I suggest a female magical user of some type; they've already had two wizards. ;)

Two wizards and three witches actually. They could always put it with a Moses figure...

Hmm, I suppose that's true. I never really thought of them as fantasy characters. They are all more Halloween-styled witches, except for Maleficent.

They could always put it with a Moses figure...

That could be cool. It'd be nice to have it in brown also. Then it could be considered an elaborately carved walking stick (which it could be now I guess if it's thought to be painted) or something more magical. ;)

Oh yes, I know that feeling! When there is a gap in my collection, it really nags at me....

I looked in my Specials spares, but only had the Klicky from 4530, not the snakestick, but you have one now (on its way)!
