Hi again friends....
Many time ago I begin with this idea.....and now, thanks to my friend Chema from Playmobil History Move.....he make the vinyl stickers....and I can see finished some of my little dreams.
This is a tribute to this crazy people and how I laughed with his films.
Remember the crazy knigths??.....

Sir Galahad.....and of course.....the Black Knigth.... 8}

Oh, very nice!
Years ago I recreated the musical version - Spamalot, but with not nearly your eye for detail! I don't think I ever finished it.
-
These are wonderful!!!
-
She turned me into a Newt!
A Newt?
I got better.
Love the customs, takes me back many years!
-
Sheer genius.
Just add a killer bunny.
-
That's so funny :lmao: I can see them galloping already...
King Arthur: Now stand aside, worthy adversary.
Black Knight: 'Tis but a scratch.
King Arthur: A scratch? Your arm's off.
Black Knight: No it isn't.
King Arthur: What's that, then?
Black Knight: (after a pause) I've had worse.

Time ago, Sideshow make this figures on 12"
Also, if I remember well....a german friend make this customs with Playmobil....I´m not the first on make this :-[ .....sadly, I lost the contact with this friend, he make a good job with the decorations and make a lot of characters.... only need good helmets ;)
-
Great customs! :)
The sad thing is that in many ways that movie is still more historically accurate than the average medieval videogame or current movie. :(
It's mostly in sets and costumes though, everything else gets rather silly.

Yep, those are what I remember!

I have always thought so too. Brilliant direction by Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam (who also directed Jabberwocky, another brilliant historical setting, also very silly in places!).

"Do scenes from Life of Brian" just got added to my PM to do list.

"Do scenes from Life of Brian" just got added to my PM to do list.
To do this we don´t need special resin parts....only original-parts a bit of imagination... ;D
Life of Brian is a Masterpiece.....

Exactly! I have all the Romans and pretty much all the klickies that look 1st century Judaean, so all I need to do now is rewatch the film!
"What has geobra ever done for us?"

Great customs! :)9
Further I will only say "Ni" and will add that my favourite colour is blue ;D
Btw, Playmobil posted some pics from the newest dioramas on display in Zirndorf (this time from their own deco department) in the PCC, one photo showed detail of a cow on a medieval attack-catapult...
... which of course is a wink to Monty Python´s Holy Grail;

Priceless! :wow:
I love the pile of bones and the vulture!
"Then lobbest thou the Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioch and thine enemies will be slain, for they have been naughty in my sight" Armaments verse 3, chapter 7.
OMG I have got MPQS*, there is no known cure! I thought I was in remission, but it's back!
