Post by: cachalote on July 01, 2015, 14:06:10
in 2019 a century has passed since the SAVE THE CHILDREN fund was founded in london.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Save_the_Children
it started as a way to stop starvation among post-ww1 german chindren.
geobra is german and playmobil is a german toy.
a lot has hapenned since in the last 100 years.
germany doesn't need any help now.
but its companies can (and some do) help
geobra could use this anniversary and create a partnership with STC.
thay could make a special edition set to raise money.
they could send leftover sets to the several countries where STC works.
food and toys.  :)
it would be nice.

What a good suggestion, am sure we would all support fund raising for a children's charity  :D.

After seeing the unbearably sad photos from Bodrum, Turkey on the international news yesterday I think this idea should be put forward as soon as possible   :'( :'( :'(

Good idea could be a win win great way to raise awareness and funds for a good charity. Those figures in the photo are very well made but, the photos themselves rather sad  :'( that in itself could be a good way to raise awareness of the issues some children face
