Well, I finally made it. I have enjoyed being a "guest" for a few days until I could figure out what to call myself, but, in the spirit of my dear friend Psyche, I have been persuaded (by sweet Meg) that I can pick a name and change it later. :)
So, for now, I will be Madame X, but you can still call me Anne. Some of you may also have known me as Indianna but I have now repudiated that identity. ;)
The site looks fabulous and I really appreciate and admire all of the hard work that Sylvia, Psyche, Meg, Serenity, and G-zino have done. This is truly an awe-inspiring achievement!
It is a delight to see so many friends, both old and new, already here. I look forward to spending time with you!

 and Welcome Madame X ;D

Welcome, welcome, welcome my friend! So glad to have my baseball buddy back! ;)
Madame X...how alluring! (And yes you can change if you wish, just ask Sylvia....I changed several times but Psyche fits, for better or worse! ;)) So glad to see so many new and loved people here! (And another female...we were getting swamped by the boys for a minute there! 8})
I see you have selected the "mysterious lady" avatar to start...an excellent beginning for a lovely lady. I do hope you enjoy the place! We tried hard to make it welcoming (and appreciate your patience and help!) :D :*)
Oh, and thanks your suggestions along the way on ways not to be bothered by what others say or do! Thanks for helping us keep our positive outlook and enthusiam!
To Anne! :**:

Hi Anne! :*)
It's lovely to read you again, and I would like to add my thanks to Diana's because you helped so much to keep me focussed on our mutual goal, particularly when things didn't seem to be going to plan. ;)
I like the name "Madame X" too, it has quite a mysterious ring to it. 8-)

hi Anne
i agree with the others the Madame X does have the air of mystery about it.
And that is one good avatar to have.
No one will mess with a woman with a sword.
i am glad you decided to join.
Your encouragement and approval have given us strength while we starting on this adventure.
Its only more fun with more friends.
welcome

Greetings Madame Eggs, Defender of the Pond, Protectoress of the Sacred Frog!
It´s wonderful to have you here! :D I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. ;D
Guarrenzino
(G, G-zino? They´re all the same, these `New Worlders,´more that two syllables and they `frow a wobbler.´ We still like ´em though ;-)
-
I sort of like G'Zino as a nickname of your nickname...rhymes with casino (a true friend to my fellow Native Americans!) ;)
-
yes, we new worlders will corrupt any language or name to make it easier for ourselves
we are a selfish, arrogant lot
Derick says hello, he has not been on the forums yet but i think he is going to pop in today.
I am glad that Derrick will still be present. he has been a large source of amusement, for me, at least.
welcome Anne,
have fun
we are glad you are here

Its great seeing you again :)

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, everyone!
I am enjoying being a "woman of mystery," at least for a while! 8-) My fantastic, though probably temporary, avatar is courtesy of Sylvia (as usual! ;D ) who provided so many interesting pre-fab choices (I gave the panda some serious consideration, what with the mask and all, but ultimately I could not resist the weaponry!)
It is lovely to be back among friends in this lovely forum. Besides the fantastic five (Sylvia, Psyche, Meg, Serenity, and, of course, Guarrenzino) I am delighted to see Rob, Tim (and Derick 8},) Kristian, and Robbie who are all among the first to sign up.
I have been away for a few days and it is so great to see that our numbers are steadily increasing!
BTW, When I was writing my first post I mis-remembered David's new name as "Guarranissimo" (as in bellissimo and Generalissimo) but I was unsure of the spelling and actually referred to him as "G-mo" which has a sort of hip-hop flavor. After posting I realized my mistake and changed it to G-zino. Now, of course, since I was editing it anyway, I could have used the correct long version, "Guarrenzino," but I knew in my heart that this would be an opportunity to bask in David's wit and he did not disappoint! :-*

Serves him right for picking such a strange name. :P
I love the personal text you've added under your avatar, btw. Made me laugh when I saw it.

Great to have you here! :)
I like your spare-alias pretty much. It reminds me on a board game I used to intensively
play as a kid.
...Okay, I played it the last time some weeks ago... :-[
It is called "Scotland Yard". And, basically, it is about chasing down "Mister X", who is
played by one person.
Well, I am wandering off the point, warm welcomes to you,
make yourself at home!
greetings from germany,
socrates

Hi madame X.
Nice to see you here.
Garry.

Hail, King Richard!
It is wonderful to see you here at Playmofriends - I am so glad to have the chance to rekindle an old friendship! (If Psyche's remark about money doesn't raise some eyebrows, maybe this will! ;) ) Don't worry - I will be discreet. :-X
Hello, Anne ...
This is going to be great fun! ... :)
Let them raise their eyebrows ... while we raise our glasses to toast our "rekindling" ... ;)
Read you soon, my friend ...
All the best,
Richard

Hi Anne  Nice to see you here. I'm still getting around catching up with who's who, so saying who you were helped a lot.

I know what you mean, Gordon! I need to make a chart for myself to keep track of everyone's many aliases. 8} ;D

Hey...they're not alias's so much as a "fresh start" for many of us. 0)
