Title: Looking for a waterfall
Post by: playmofire on June 04, 2014, 08:56:26
I'm looking for parts for a waterfall using dark grey rocks.  Can anyone help, either with a set number or part numbers, please?

Do you mean something like this, in set 5100?

The dinosaur set 5019 has one too (although I don't know how common that set is):

Are you looking for the water pieces, or the dark grey rocks, or just an entire waterfall that looks nice?

If there's an entire one that looks nice and the rocks are the right colour (or near enough it), then that would be fine.  If it's a matter of finding the bits to make one up, that would also be fine.

The big one in 5019 was only ever in that set, and is unavailable from DS so hard to get.

The small one you can see the various part numbers on the instructions for 5100 at http://playmobil.scene7.com/is/content/Playmobil/5100pdf.pdf?locale=de_DE (http://playmobil.scene7.com/is/content/Playmobil/5100pdf.pdf?locale=de_DE) you need at least 30 46 7150 rock 2,10 € from DS and the 30 09 8660 water 0,85 €

IMO, the 5100 one doesn't come close to the other one... but that could be me..

If the dark version is that rare, though....  :(

Another option would be to watch eBay for a pink waterfall from the fairy series, they tend to go cheap and can be repainted to match your theme. I got one with a set and repainted it white for use in my winter theme.

Thanks for the info, all.  I'm really looking for a tall one, so that may mean making my own.  The pink fairy one is a possibility and there is one on eBay.UK at the moment, although it doesn't look complete, but that may be the photo.  I'll check with the seller before I buy it (if I do buy it) and also see if any missing parts are available from DS.

I have the one from 3896 Gordon.  Is it for use at Kirkbean?
It is the wrong colour to go with the other rocks you are looking for but I don't mind if you want to paint it if that is any help.

Many thanks, Elaine.  I'll bear that in mind.  (We are planning to come over Monday now.  I'm just waiting to hear from Elaine.)

That sounds great Gordon, I can't do anything in the hall until Monday as it is Elaine's parents Golden Wedding party in the hall on the Sunday so all my Playmobil will have to be at home and transported up there on Monday also  :(

I've heard from Elaine that we can stay on the Monday and I now know what she means when she says that they "have people in at the weekend".

And now, on with the DS order!
