It occurs to me that, although there is this whole new Alpine Country theme, there are no giant horns.

C'mon, Playmobil!? How can I re-enact a Ricolla commercial?

Maybe they'll make a Special figure with one and some other Alpine item - or maybe just a different coloured cow.

Could have used some (swiss) cheese wheels as well.. I don't think cheese wheels have been made yet?
-
Awesome idea!
I also like the idea of cheese wheels. Or wedges or cheese in any form.

I donĀ“t know whether these pictures can be seen, if you are not friend with Richard Unglik, but he has an alpine horn picture at his facebook site:

That is beautiful!

This sounds like a cool idea. :)

I think the Alpine theme is supposed to be Austria/Bavaria, whereas the alphorn is a Swiss thing. That's my guess.
-
Ah, a very interesting possibility! Thank you for bringing that up.
I hope they apply that level of authenticity to their next "Asian Dragon Castle" ::)

The German description translate as "Mountain hut" and the English description is "Alpine lodge", so I think Playmobil have produced a generic building here which reflects Alpine lodges/huts whether in the Austrian, Swiss or French Alps, so Alpine horn would not e out of place particularly.
