As aficionados of Roman military history know, the reforms introduced by Gaius Marius involved, among other things, individual soldiers being required to carry a lot of gear, in order to reduce the size of the baggage train. This led to soldiers being called "Marius's mules".
I got an idea to represent this in Playroman form, using only the parts included with the legionaries. I simply position the scutum behind the body of the klickius, drop the pilum between scutum and body, and put the galea on the tip of the pilum to represent baggage.
WHAT DO YOU THINK

That looks good, it really works.
And now you need about 100 of them? ;)

Very good.. They'd need the cross with the pots and maybe one of those canteens or so.. But that'd be hard to get to work in playmoform.
I really like the way you did it :)

Yeah I just wanted to suggest the cross and pots and so forth, not actually show them. My modding style is ultraminimalist, in keeping with the original Playmobil aesthetic.
As for 100, I'm nearing 40 I think, counting all my unopened packs. :D

I don't think my... centuries? go over 20... Detwinning gets harder and harder!
And I'm not overly concerned with historical accuracy: my romanish armies (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=13303.0) :-[

Great Romans! Thanks for sharing.
They remind me of a historical theme parc in France we visited several times. They have great shows. Maybe the short movies will inspire you.

Nice your Romans look good as though they're ready for a long trek guess they should be glad that you're a minimalist so they don't have more to carry on their backs
