Ok here I am, I suppose to say a bit about myself so here I go... I have always love playmobil I only had one set as a child... Long story short... Got stolen.
Can't tell you how sad I was... Days, months and years pass I still remember the very moment when that happen.
So I never had another playmobil... As a child that is, but when my first kid was born o well playmobil time
I had a good excuse to go look and buy and collect all those figures that I dear as a child, I start looking for the sets my friends had because I always had friends that had playmobil, my parents got me lego... I like it too but well ... I'm blue and klicky
So anyways, I can't call myself a collector after all the pictures I've seen, well lets say I'm still under construction ☺
I'm a big fan of the Victorian but I also love the trains, currently building a city with my daughter, I mostly interested in everything but the pirates and Dino's I left that job to my son, everything else I'm in.
What else, well thank you for having me and hope to make lots of friends.

Hi marb2777!
Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun here  I live in Antwerp, Belgium.
It seems to me that not getting a lot of Playmobil as a kid triggers collecting at a later stage in life
You can definitely call yourself a collector - it's not about the size of your Playmobil collection, but about the hobby that you enjoy.

Welcome from Portugal!
Looking forward to pics of that city :D

Hi! And welcome from Missouri, USA. I did not have Playmobil as a child... as I think about it, Playmobil wasn't being made then. LOL! I bought my first set in 2005, at age 62.

Hello and welcome to the forum
I am sure most people in here would love to see pictures of your city even before it is finished. We too have a collection of city life stuff and use it with the trains so seeing your city is right up our alley.

Another hello from Missouri, USA. I can relate to your intro, I spent a couple hours yesterday with my 6 year old daughter setting up our Victorian stuff. We made a train track pass through the "town". Looking forward to seeing photos of what you guys come up with :)

Hello from the Netherlands. A shame your playmobil got stolen, but great that you found your way back to playmobil with your kids now.
It really doesnt matter how much you have though, the less you have the more creative you need to get with it, putting what you can to use.
Personly I do enjoy that challenge, using the castle and the few houses I have to give the idea of a city by choosing the right camera angles.
Planning on having a bit of war as well later on, which will probably involve some shots that will give the idea of larger armies than I actually have.

Welcome from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. :)
