I have a question about set 5134, the latest pirate Island.
Before I go buy this set. I would like to know the dimensions (cm/inchs) of the largest base plate the set contains.

Seems like a hard one to find a box for storing this one.
This item must be in the top 10 of most difficult playmobil parts to have a box for which it fits in.
I am thinking of buying some Samla boxes from IKEA (http://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/catalog/products/90102971/#/00130129).
Would it fit?

Hi Bas,
on Playmobil.nl I found the measures: 70x55x28cm (total)
according to the 360 image: http://www.playmobil.nl/on/demandware.store/Sites-NL-Site/nl_NL/Product-Show?pid=5134&showSpareParts=false&cgid=Piraten#cgid=Piraten&start=19 This might help you. I don't own this set so I can't give you the exact measurements

It is big, but very nice.
It does not fit into the big Samla-box I have...

It's my sons and he has it in his room on a broad shelf and usually on the ground when he plays with it. Storing will become a future problem, i'm afraid...

I don't know what sort of storage options you have in Europe, but in the US we can get some pretty big plastic boxes from Sterilite or Iris.
