Hello all!
My name is Ben and I've been collecting playmo for about a year, though I got my first set when I was a kid. I have been augmenting my big castle (3666) and am looking for ideas for making it larger without expanding its footprint (space issues).
I also have a great project illustrating an Old English poem (I'm a teacher) with figures. I'm stumped on finding figures to finish it.
I look forward to meeting people.

Thanks so much for the welcome!
Can anyone suggest where I should ask for help with modifying my 3666? I just got a second set and want to use it to introduce new levels. I've already added a second square tower and two new round ones (opening up the space). I am trying to get my camera to cooperate so I can post some pictures of my kingdom and village (and magical forest!)

As to modifying, I think you can just open a thread about it.. plenty of accomplished builders here ;)
Magical forest? Looking forward to the pics even more!
And I love your avatar

Welcome from Oregon!
There are a number of ways to expand steck system castles. In the end it boils down to what parts you have available. There are a number of great threads in the customs forums with castles and other buildings.

Thanks Tahra!
I'll have pics up shortly.

I posted some individual pictures, but am having trouble figuring out how to get them into a personal gallery that I can link to or actually find myself.
I am also having trouble getting my computer to communicate with my camera, so I had to use one without a flash and these are the best pictures that came out. I'll get a better light and take more close-ups so you can see the little scenes.
I guess I'm not doing well with technology today. ::)
Any help would be welcomed, at least about posting pictures into a personal gallery! :D

Ok, I'm getting somewhere with uploading pictures!

Hello. What poem are you illustrating? And what do you teach?
-
Hi. I teach English, 10th-11th grade. The poem is "Widsith" and I've posted the opening of that project in storytelling.
-
That is fun. I love old and middle english poetry!
-
Thanks! Me too. I have thought about doing scenes from Beowulf and Canterbury Tales. Widsith has been very time-consuming though and I want to finish it before taking on something else. Hopefully I can get it finished soon.

Welcome from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Haven't found your poem yet, seems to be removed. Good luck with the 3666!
