Ooooh perfect! They look really good  :)  Will you do more of them?

but did he have a sword?

Gandalf had a sword, it was called Glamdring. I think you can see him swinging it a couple of times during the siege of Minas Tirith and the final battle near the Black Gate

Legolas and Gimli are nearly finished. Gonna start on Aragon soon. I need to get more of the Dwarf from series 3 for their cloaks...

Thank you my Friends for all your kind compliments and encouragements. The Dead King struck me by chance when I was looking at my spare parts box... However, customizing him probably created more spare parts... Hahaha!
There aren't anything lined yet but I'm wrecking my brains for Gollum... That creep will be hard to achieve...

I've got to admit that Lord Of The Rings was more my sisters thing I never  really got into it that much but, still I can see a distinct resembalance between some of the more familiar characters they all look good some great use of parts Gandalf, The Dark Lord, the Dwarf fella and Legolas particularly strike me as standouts  :)

Yes that Elrond face (and hair and hairband and expression): very recognisable!

For Galadriel it must be impossible to find a long train for her dress in PM. But the decanter is a lovely detail  :)

Hugo Weaving is always frowning in character except for V for Vendetta where we do not get to see his face...
Galadriel kinda turned out better than I expected it to but to date my favourite one is still the Dead King.

These are all great but if I had to choose a favorite it would have to be Elrond and Galadriel.  Elrond's eyebrows are just perfect for his character and the colors of his costume just great!

May I ask what skirt you used for Galadriel?  There's a trained skirt like that from 5451 but it has printing and I was hoping there would be a plain white one too.

Thank you Cloud Strife. If I remembered correctly, I used the lower body of this one.
Most of the time, I will lightly scrape off the print with a cutter and then use very fine sand paper to finish it off.

Thanks for the tip, larryhohoho.  I will try that technique with a spare figure first.  I also use a pencil eraser sometimes (an old method from Playmoboard) but this only seems to work on metallic paint and takes a long time.  Your method just might do it.  8-)

If the area is big then its faster with a cutter but remember not to scrape too deep or you will have a hard time sanding it to smoothen out the scratch marks.
There other way is to use a rougher sandpaper first, then finish with a smoother one.

I use an "ink" eraser - you know, it was supposed to erase ballpoint pen writing.. Mine must be like 20 years old or something..

Most of the time, works well - then just buff it up a bit...  Pics in the PROCESS.. somewhere  :-[

Those are the ones I use, yes, blue ones.. And quite useless for the intended purpose - it would make a hole in the sheet, which WOULD indeed remove the pen writing, but not really the way we wanted it to  :P . That is why I have a bunch of new or little used ones from AGES ago.

It does remove also the "shine" on the part - but I think ALL methods must. It's not fast either, but it does work, and it's not hard to get...

Haha! I totally remember those "holes" that erasing the pen marks create... Anyway, I realised the process of removing the printing defintely gives them a "matting" which is actually better for photography. Otherwise, those highlights are rather blinding...

I've said it on the PCC, but I'll say it again: Wormtongue is just right!! His blue eyes in the white skin, they make him totally icy and corpse-like. And I love what you did with the fringes of his cloak.

Hadn't noticed Theoden before, but he is perfect too, by the way  :)  Like Cloud Strife mentioned, he really needed to have those eyebrows to make him seem kind and stern at the same time. His armour has a good colour and look for Rohan.

I'm still rooting for the hobbits  ;)

I had to cut it open, fit it sideways and shave off the excess at the back otherwise the long hair would not fit.

Wormtongue looks spot on!  Nice.  Eowyn is very Rohan ish, but I gotta ask, why does she have a five o clock shadow?  Is that suppose to be her bro?

She's awesome! I wasn't even aware of a helmet like that in Playmobil. Her hair and face are just right too.

Impressive! Looking both like the character and like a playmo!
What are the blade and shield made out of?

Thanx!
The blade is this one.
Had to cut with the tip pushed up slightly.
