Title: New year.... new avatar!

I hope you all like my new avatar figure which was revealed (completely ;)) for the first time in Jochen's photo story (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1217.0). :)

I decided to put the tail-thumping beaver into retirement a couple of months ago, following comments from several members who said they would prefer to see me return to 'human klicky' form (you know who you are! ;D).

Choosing an avatar figure is not always easy, and I spent several weeks just deliberating over what type of figure I should use. :eh?:

After discounting many half-baked ideas, I eventually decided it would be best to keep things simple and create a custom klicky that closely resembles my usual day-to-day appearance. ;)

Simple doesn't mean compromising on unique features though, and when Jochen and I started discussing the creation of PF logo decals for the birthday gifts (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1130.msg14524#msg14524), it prompted ideas for other possible uses... such as printed t-shirts! :D

Here is a close-up pic of the figure showing the decal which Jochen kindly applied to the torso and some of the additional features I painted on (jeans detailing and t-shirt collar). I'm very pleased with the result and very grateful for his help in bringing the project to completion. :yup:

Very nicely done, Sylvia.  I noticed the logo on the t-shirt but assumed the jeans were genuine Playmo.

Not blonde at the moment. ;) I just happen to really like that particular Playmobil hairpiece. ;D

My hair is currently back to its natural colour which is more of a light brown, although it was blonde when I was younger and living in Australia (I had more exposure to sunshine there than in Scotland! :P).
