Title: 2012 Photocontest, December. Theme: Vacations / Holidays

This second contest will have a specific theme: Vacations / Holidays.
You can start submitting your photos in this topic today and until January 12th,  around noon, London time.
Voting will take place from January 12th to January 19th.

All guidelines apply.
No PHOTOSHOP allowed.

Please consider guideline #4 of the contest.
The photo must be originally used for the contest. If you want to use that pic in another thread please wait until the on-going contest is finished. Thanks for understanding.

Maybe the time can be altered a bit? I have some ideas but didnt get around to doing it yet, and wont be able to do it this week, hopefully next week.

Januari can be a rather busy month, maybe it could be extended to 31 Januari so that everyone has plenty of time to add contributions?

Ok, we've discussed it, and we think that it is a good idea to extend the deadline because of the holidays. So the new deadline will be January 31st. Hopefully that will give us time to get enough entries in for a contest.

I did look at pictures of the group on google, but with only one afternoon to take the photo, the customisation needed was too much - I even had to stick a girl in there too!  :lol:

I just don't see the purpose of sticking a poster of a real band if they're not there...

I've got to say I always like to see what other people come up with I like Tonguellos photo very well executed and clear, as for Elaines the first one is a cool idea it looks well set up whereas the 2nd one is simple and humerous

Thanks at the top of our road we've got a footpath you can follow it past the cemtry to another little suburb or straight down to Rivelin Valley as it's been also known to me the Craggs it's a lovely area to go and do a short walk, I was originally going to take my photo there instead I decided to walk down to a bit near to the garden centre (about 15 minutes walk) I was afraid my little guys might get blown off the rocks by the strong wind so I ended up using the stile they still fell in the mud though  :(,  you get quite a good view across the valley and part of Sheffield. Anyway that's the first photo the 2nd one I took at one of the sites we were working on with BTCV, I wasn't expecting that we'd still be working up there last Thursday but, we were so I took the opportunity to set him up walking down the long woodland path, the last set of photos I took in my outdoor photos was at the same site on a rather foggy day which gave me the idea.

He's just sitting down to take a rest. There are a few of them sitting actually, but it's hard to tell in the picture I suppose. :lol:
