You can start submitting your photos in this topic today and until December 15th, noon, England time.

Ace what is photoshoped in your pics exactly?
It is only permited to crop, to balance color/brigthness/contrast and to change size of image.
All the rest is not allowed for this theme.

GUYS I RECOMEND FOR FUTURE CONTESTS TO POST YOUR IMAGES A LITTLE SMALLER SO PEOPLE WOULDN'T NEED TO SCROLL TO THE RIGHT TO SEE TTHE WHOLE PICTURE

To make it more fun, when the monthly theme is FREE the photoshop "rule" don't apply, so you are FREE to do the kind of pic you want.

And to make it fairer when the theme is more specific there will be no photoshop permitted.

I think we did have a maximum size requirement on the old contest, which of course made sense for the reason you stated. But long lists of rules put people off, even if most of them are common sense. It's better to just leave that up to the person posting it to decide what size shows their pic to the best advantage. This reminded me I needed to resize mine though!

Mine always used to come out a nice size, but now they come out too big like the rest of them and it looks silly and I don't have the programmes to resize them :(

Stupid photobucket won't keep the changed sizes. It should be 800x600 to fit nicely on the screen, and imageshack which I used to use always did that automatically, but photobucket really is taking the.

Isa if you figure it out, please PM any of us mods. you could send the pics by e-mail and we could replace them so we don't have repeated entries. It would be confusing. :)

Thanks I actually took it late morning after I'd had my haircut, I wanted to take some photos of the 2 of them before Simon got handed over to our boss and the Botanical Gardens where I volunteer isn't much more than 5 minutes walk down the road. It was a nice sunny day but, rather cold :)

The pirate with the blue bandana is one of my favorites, he just looks so friendly and doesnt look like a bad guy at all despite being a pirate. ;)

Almost forgot the monkey after finishing the picture and taking the clickies back inside. :-[ But I went back to get him, which was a good thing since it was snowing the next morning. <*)
