Hi Everyone,
I was out shopping last night and noticed this set at Kohl's:
http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1119409/playmobil-farm-playset-5961.jsp
I haven't ever see it before, but did notice it was discussed on Playmofriends last year as an exclusive in the UK maybe?
Anyway, just wanted to let people know it was available in the U.S. Kohl's has sales all the time, plus $10 off coupons quite often.
Cheers,
Tenni

$80 :o ouch for such a set. its nice and all but that seems way to high, after all I thought Kohls was a discount store. $49 and I would go get one but not many more.
-
Yes, the price seems high for what you get in the set! Thanks for mentioning it, Rasputin. I should have put the $ in the original post. At the store, it was 10% off of $79. Still not great. I didn't buy one, as we already have a barn and enough tractors for several farms. ;D
However, if this set ever ends up on clearance at Tuesday Morning, I might reconsider... 8}

Way too much for me right now, but it's a nice little set. I like that tractor. Can you believe we don't have a single tractor in our collection? I need one for an upcoming story.
-
it's too expensive..In France you can buy it for less than 40€...
the only difference, country is not written on the box....

My Kohls also has a small fire station set for the same price. It's got the cheap China fire engine and a few figures plus a small fire station and accessories
-
Nice set, but expensive.
The box illustration is weird though, the woman in the tractor seems to be about to smash the head of the unaware kid watching the ponies
-Mummy look what nice horsies!
-Yes dear, keep looking at the horsies, don't mind mummy.

I have that set, some friends took this last year for my daughter's birthday. Here in Greece it costs about 50 euro.
There are two versions for this set. The other one is here:

Wow that's some price! :o
I've got, sort of, the same set for about 40 euros...
It was an older set, but looked almost axactly like this one. Guess I was lucky!
-
 Gaston, it does look like that!
Went to Kohls today and they had LOTS of these sets, especially the fire one. They'll never sell them all at that price, so by January I wouldn't be surprised to see them half off. Or they may all be at Tuesday Morning next year for $40.

I think you have right about the price. It was 40 euros not 50. I gave a link with another one version of this set.
Did you bought that one?

Well it does have a nice tree in the foreground
Even with the conversion
In France Playmo_80 said 40 Euros = $52
In Greece George said 50 Euros = $65
So Kohls is claiming the set sold for $100 and is on sale for $80 ? How is this not dishonest? These TM, TJM, Ross, Marchall's, Kohls type discount stores love to lie.

I do not think so. TM will lie about the SRP and claim it was $150 and then use the normal 50% off or $75 ::)

Well if you wait for one of the 4 times a year sales... practically everything is 30% off the "sale" price... and then you can stack your 30% coupon on that and end up with 60% off and get it for $32... at least that is the way they do the coupons at my kohls... I got some mystery figures there for $1.60 because they were "$5" ... Kohl's price "$4"... on sale at 30% and we had a 30% coupon... so 60% off the $4... ;)

ok now we are talking "good deal", and how do I get this 30% off coupon? Thanks for thinking of a smart way to buy this set at a decent price
-
It has similarities with a set which had been released before 7-8 years in Greece! The building was the same and the figures similar. It was cost 70 euros.
-
Oh,it's exactly the same set!!!!!!!!!!!The only differences are in the box, because it didn't include the logo "country"

If you have a Kohl's Card they send the coupon in the mail... you get either a 15% 20% or 30% coupon good for your entire purchase... not just by item
-
Saw both today. Actually, they are $99 listed, on 'sale' for $79., But if you know Kohl's, everything is on sale every day. And you can get some very good sales and coupons. As some on mentioned, they have the new mystery figures on 'sale' for $3.69, but I have a $10 coupon, so I could get three for about free.

I got a 30% off coupon and resisted buying either set. It was tough but I did it
