Title: starting my Ancient Chinese Peasant Army
Post by: cheng on August 24, 2012, 03:04:05
ala Playmobil (although their clothes in real life would have been very random)...so very easy to make these but not more than 20, I hope, or you all might start calling me George-Cheng :P

thank you George!
I'm trying to slow down, almost reaching a 100 Chinese (Japanese, Koreans & Mongols not included :P) I'm worried that if Geobra make Asians next year with definitely better moulded hats, hair-pieces, torsos sandals & sleeves.......it will be very painful to put all mine away after all my hard work :P

Very nice the tunics are simple but, effective, like the sandals and hair pieces and the sword is cool, like the eyebrows

..I used to worry that my Asian customs will look Caucasian :P

thanks HDL but I hope I wont get stuck with 'George' :P(I was merely pulling George's leg for owning some of the largest PM armies I've seen)..so just 'Cheng' is fine ;)

I love these Cheng!  The little touches like equipping them with pitchforks and having them all different (the eyebrows!  )

One quick question - how did you do the hair? :D

thanks Gyps!
the hair knots are are merely push-pins/soft board pins(what do you call them?
again, just temporary stuff and waiting for Geobra :P

Cheng, you won't have to put yours away. If the do it well, Geobra's Asians will be inspired by your's so maybe you just have to switch some ogf your self-made parts to original-ones. If the do it wrong, they at least will provide you with enough parts to work with on your own. So don't worry (as I do that the Scotsman (the HAVE to do as well) will look strange and all my hopes that there might a USEFUL kilt might vanish).

Best wishes

thank you for your kind words, Ralf!
but most importantly, we expect Geobra to make Asians & Scotsman (with kilts) soon ;)
