I'd wish they made such a design in playmobil.  :)

Nice picture! Did you buy that helm or make it? And is that padding inside it attached, or do you have a separate coif or cowl?

I had it made "to fit".I know a little metalwork, but this had to be just as I had envisioned it, so I left it to a pro. ;)
There's linen and cotton padding attached inside, but for extra comfort ànd protection I also wear a seperate padded coif under it. :)

Do you also have a suit to go with it?

Yes, chainmail armour-no plates.I also have a slight preference towards my round shield, I tried kite shields too, but they're too large for on-foot combat imho.

That's cool. :) It's definitely best to have them custom-fitted, whether you make them or not. I have a Sugarloaf, but it has no attached padding, so I have to wear a thick coif under it.

Nice that you have a suit to go with it, could be funny if someone took a picture of you while you are busy with medieval playmobil and you wear this, then it be like a medieval knight is playing with mini versions of himself.   ;)

No, they won't let me on the plane with my sword, my armour is too heavy to pass for hand-luggage, and I'm into history really, not into the whole religion thing-lol. ;) ;D
