I am soooooooo excited i have to post this separastely from my playmobil purscases threat !!! :yippee: :yippee:
As I have stated before reference my medieval collection and set up , i am planning to increase significantly my yellow dragons and eventually remove the dragonland series from my set up. i just dont like them that much and they dont fit that well with my steck / rest of medieval collection. Apart from buying 3669 ( and trying to pursuade grangel to sell me me a few hundred yellow dragons   - only kidding !!-) I found and bought two MISB 3665 !!!!!!!!!! Not cheap but i will sooo sooo much enjoy opening these when i get them and i will do a proper 3665 review from a MISB . I will of course open them both and set them along with the other two 3665 sets i have . I will make a squae castle with each of these towers at each corner and the rock dragon temple in the middle eventually.
Who said things are quite in Krull . Soon i will reveal my next steck purchase which i think will be quite something , somthign that surpasses my current set up i should add !!!
Here are the two MISB 3665 sets i got

The 3665 is one of the sets i love the most and i am tempted to buy the other two too !!!!

A not so easy to come by buy, George! Congratulations!!!

Thanks. I noticed you have quite a lot of medieval stuff. The 3665 is a great set and curently there are a few unboxed complete ones ( or just missing a grey tree and a couple of klikcies ) on ebay from good sellers , worth having a look actually as a coupl eare also very well priced. I was about to get this but got carried away from the idea of opening two 3665 MISBs.. Last time i did that was in 1996 if i recall correctly. During ' the golden era' of playmobil
The 3665 is a great set to have , stands alone perfectly and i will do a proper full review of it when i get these i bought very soon ;D

I have bought many items from sugie30 before, good seller. However some of these are not the original klikcies and dont have the 3669 dragon prints ;)
-
This one: no weapons but lots of klickies!

Seems like quite a find. Lots of yellow dragon clickies with lots of hair variation and for a good price too. :)
-
Wow that is an awesome win :) that set looks so cool and I'll really look forward to yor review of it, I can remember seeing that in my childhood catalogues looks like such a great set and lots in it. Perhaps this is not what your looking for when you say about dragons but, have you seen this type? it's the same set I had as a kid and I would higly recommend it a Dragon with hands, full articualtion and massive toungue and feet ;D only in Playmobil ;)

That dragon is still available from the Playmobil webstore, under Direct Service. Including all the chains, but without the clicky.

The clicky and his horse seem more interesting to me than the dragon. ;)
-
Congrats, George! Nice acquisitions!
-
Thank you all . also agree that the rare klikcy on teh horse is a very impressive one. As for the dragons , i do like indedd those green dragons though if there is one think i like about the dragonland series is the big mighty black dragon .
Nevertheless when it comes to playmobil i think the old green dragon is more compatible with klikcies reference its size etc and i actually consider him a playmobil classic, something we were dreaming to have one day back in the 70s and 80s....
-
For you George this seems normal, awesome for you would be if you bought 2 big rigs full of them ;D
I would have to agree with you on the Dragon land knights. I would get them for the boys but I do not really like them that much, I do want the wizard though
Congratulations on your acquisition

A great set. Some of the klickies are next to impossible to find loose, though. I've always wondered why: why should there be more green fatties than dragon barons in circulation, for eg. If X number of 3665s were sold, then it follows that X number of green fat klickies and X number of dragon barons should be available on ebay.

Thank you for that I've seen that as well would love to get him at some point but, for someone on my budget £15 is a fair bit of money at least half or more of what I'd set aside for Playmobil/Action Man each month :). I think I'd agree about the Dragon Land series they're cool but, well I'm just not sure about it
-
I always wondered why none of the soldiers in the 3665 set are yellow dragon soldiers. Seems like they go better with other factions.
-
Very nice George. I too had that set NIB and had great fun setting it up - it is a classic!
-
Thank you all . The dragon land set up will give way for 3665 and 3669 sets in a few months when i have plenty more . They just dont fit in with the mid 90s mediaval playmobil and overall with my medieval set up. I will just move them to one of the shelves behind and set up a 3665 based castle for the dragons of krull.... :)
-
like you say it's not cheap, however it's one piece that you must add to your collection. I bought it in 1999 and I gave it to my daughter for her Christmas 2 years ago
-
Thank you , i cant wait to set up my yellow dragons castle. ' Rock Castle ' it will be called as it will have a lot of rocks everywhere , a rock temple ( green dragons ) and a volcano from the dino series etc ( idea stolen from LOTR  ) . Rock , lava , tall towers, lots of fire breathing dragons and fiercefull yellow and green dragon army . Not a place for the faint hearted i reckon

Congrats with your new MISB 3665s, George! :)
I have bought many items from sugie30 before, good seller.
I bought from her a few weeks ago. Communication doesn't seem to be one of her talents, neither does getting things shipped to the buyer without much delay. And that with keeping in mind that she lives in Bruges, and I'm just a bit further between Bruges and Brussels.
