I found this set in a facebook account and in comments said that it is from Antex!
It looks like 5177,although there are many differences!Do you know more information about this set?
(p.s. I thought that sets which released from Antex were similar to the 80's Geobra sets)
-
It looks just like this version, without many different changes IMHO.

Except it's an ugly color, the robber has no sunglasses, the banker has a gun :o, and the sign is different.

That's not too many changes though. They gave the gun to the wrong Klicky, I think!
-
Typical Antex box art... they can't even set up the scene right for the picture!
-
 It's night-time, guys. The bank is closed, and they are both robbers!
-
 Well, it looks like he turned on his partner in crime, then!
-
let her in to get her prints all over everything clearly... they didnt even break the glass

Hmmmmm,....no bank employee for the day time then! That's one way of not having to split the loot! ;)
-
I think he is the employee and he is either going to shoot her for not depositing fast enough or not enough money ;D
Did other sets have a working ATM ?
-
Only the new 5177.
-
I thought Antex was producing sets again that are "outdated" (f.e. the Susanne fishing boat), not sets ultra-similar to ones that were just released a few weeks ago in Germany ?! ???
-

No, Bill, they gave the gun to the bank manager (he's standing behind the bank counter after all so he must be an employee) and he's forcing the customer to help increase the bank's cash reserves. :)
-
Maybe that clicky saw the banks produced by Geobra so now hes not taking any chances with women who look like that.
-
No no no guys... this is NOT ANTEX NOR A REAL SET.
This box is a joke. It is from Spain and there have been other like this.
Bankia is a Bank in Spain which has asked the governmet for some "public money" to help its critical situation or someting like that (I don't know the full details), that's why the clerk has the gun etc etc.
The add says:
Bankia is the only Bank of the world where the the one robbing you is behind the counter.
The set includes:
- Bank director with good arguments
Client on the verge of loosing her money
Corrupt Directory
As you might know this really happened in Argentina in 2001 when the government kept the people's savings. I have seen someone commenting that Antex should have launched this set in 2001. :)
Someone might have used it to depict the current Argentine situation (something like this might be happening again soon) that's where all the confusion comes from. ;D
Anyway.. it is a joke.
For example, when some National Organization in Spain said that there were (don't remember the number but let's say...) 3 million new unemployed people, this person launched a Playmobil set which included the organization building and 3 million clickies.
Like the "apple store" joke box... remember?

Here's the other one...

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, Gaston! That's really funny, actually, along with the other one.
-
Thanks for the explanation, Gaston. The creator of these ideas really has a good sense of humour - a satirical one.
When I saw the name "Bankia" I thought of the Spanish bank, but assumed that "bankia" might just be the Argentinian word for "bank".
-
I think this need to be a world wide set  most will understand the situation ;)
Thanks for the joke
-
 I'm glad you cleared that up Gaston! It makes total sense now!
-

I was thinking the same. For a second, I thought of referring with a joke to Bankia in my previous post, but then I felt it might perhaps upset some people...
Yesterday I saw the HBO-movie 'Too Big to Fail" about the financial crisis in 2008. I knew back then that we were very close to a big catastrophe, but I had not realized we had been so near the total collapse of the world's economy (and thus society as we know it)...
(I assume the movie correctly reflects the events that took place)

2012 is far worse than 2008 i think.... :(
