Hi everybody!
I know Playmofriends since quite a lot of years, but I never decided to register until now...because I don't manage well the language and this make me feel as a poor contributor in foreign forums. Maybe you can understand well my writing, but I find difficult to explain well my ideas about a particular subject or understanding easily the messages from other people sometimes.
Anyway I love Playmobil toy since I was a child and after some years a little far from internet and forums I decided to join you all. At present I dedicate many of my spare time to my own blog called Play Kids (http://www.playkidsworld.blogspot.com.es/), so I don't contribute too much to any forum, but some spanish ones and also from time to time in the international forum from Tricornejock.com, which I think most of you know too.
There I recently met Kaethe, and she reminded me about this great forum after so many time far from here. Thank you!
I am happy of being part of Playmofriends, now, I think is a very nice place to share this lovely hobby, too.
I don't know what else to tell about me, I hope this will be enough as a small introduction :) Now I will take a time to read a little on the boards! :D
Greetings from Spain!

Oh theres so much stuff here, take your time. I feel it always really helps to go look through older stories here whenever I am not in the best of moods, friendly clickies always help make things better. :)
Looking forward to seeing you show us your collection as well.

Rhalius, I have no more pics of my collection to upload, but I remember I put some of them in Playforos, many years ago when I started to go to forums about Playmobil.
I wouldn't tell I am a collector in strict sense. My first fun was and is still to "play" with Playmobil.
Of course I love old boxes and I have interest in everything about Playmobil, his history, beginnings, curiosities, etc. but I am not a "treasure hunter", in best meaning of the words. Nevertheless I am very happy when I find some old set I specially love, and actually I have some ones, too ;)
My collection started with the very first sets released under Famobil trade mark in Spain, in 1976. Since that year, I have kept buying and collecting until now, with no particular preference about a theme, so this can give an idea of the amount of klickies in my collection, which I have always shared with my brother, another big fan of Playmobil. He prefers keep far from internet and forums, however.
Among the favorite themes were Knights, Western and Pirates, and a little after, 1900 theme. But I am passionate about Playmobil itself, as a toy and part of my childhood, with no restriction of a particular theme. I don't enjoy giving the toy another dimension far from his original sense as other enthusiast people do in order of a more adult hobby point of view, this is not my mind.
On the other hand, I am not very fond on associations activities in the way that I don't contribute making diorams or so for expositions, I prefer give another use to my own collection, more private, we can say.
If you would like to do any particular question about my collection, please ask me and I would be happy to give more information :)

It's alright, I am guessing most of us here can't resist playing with the clickies. Kind of hard to say no to such friendly faces. :)
Maybe you'd like to make a picture of your play set up sometimes perhaps? or introduce us to some of your favorite clickies?
I've been playing some with the clickies myself as well at times, my collection isnt too big either. :) Was very happy to finally aquire the 3666 castle last year after wanting it for about 20 years. It's the castle of my three favorite clickies after all (see my avatar) Would be a shame NOT to play with it after wanting it so badly during my childhood. Perhaps I have about 130-140 clickies in total.

Welcome from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'm collecting knights, especially the exotic and ancient ones (oriental, Arabs, Gauls, Egyptians, Romans etc) to make chess sets, and also dragon and fantasy knights for my comic 'The Story of Randolph' (see below).
Hope to see some pics of your collection!

Here I have found the original thread in Playforos with the pics of part of our collection by 2005. Just as a quick preview about the themes and sets we had then. At present, of course, they are much more
