We all keep plenty to dream about regarding our collection I am sure, but I am curious about hearing from you all what you would like to achieve some day. :)
Personly, I'd like to have a playmo room someday.. once I have my own house.. a room large enough to put three large tables in it.. one for medieval, one for western, and one for pirates. With storage space under the tables, and possibly in a closet or on shelves in the same room if theres room for it.
I'd set up backgrounds for it.. with clouds and such, trying to get multible to choose from, maybe some artificial grass or such, pretty much all kinds of things to help improve those three themes for pictures.
Regarding the collection itself, I'd like to get some medieval houses and pretty much all the medieval sets from the early 90's. As for pirates, I'd like to get two large ships, one for pirates and one for soldiers. A pirate island as well for a hide out, and some rocks to create a treasure island. For cowboys, I'd like to expand the indian camp a bit, maybe get a goldmine to go with the treasure seekers I have, and maybe add some bandits too.

I would most like to have some Medieval houses, a nice display with realistic looking grounds, and many more Teutonic Knights. Those are my favourite, but I like many of the others too. I like the Teutonic Knights mostly for the white tabards and such that they have, not for their real-life counterparts; they just look really cool to me. I wish there were more fully-armoured knights and Medieval factions in general that had white-background tabards and cloaks and such.
So I would also like to maybe customise some knights for my own faction and have a giant horde (or hoard for my collection :lol:) of them.

I would like to have a big room just for my playmobil and Chris's, with three walls lined with tables. I would want to set up every bit of my entire zoo permanently, plus room for Chris to set up his police and fire departments. I'd also like a table for working on other projects, customizing, setting up smaller temporary projects, or shooting photo stories. I would want good lighting for taking pictures, and a variety of backdrops for the photo story area (I don't care about having backdrops behind the zoo dio, just light-colored neutral walls). I'd want the other wall to have some shelves where I can display ships, buildings, vehicles, and such, and maybe a high shelf all the way around the room for the same. Plus of course a closet for storing whatever isn't displayed. And last but not least, a really good ionizer to keep dust off the displays!

Well... I'll dream BIG guys!
I want THREE Playmo-rooms in my house. One for storage, one to use as a workshop (customizing, making diorama bases etc) and the other one (which would be the biggest) for displaying and photographing. One wall would have a huge showcase for displaying and the rest with free to set tables and bases for huge dioramas, but I mean HUUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE dioramas! :love: :love: :love: :love:
Regarding my collection, I dream of having the whole medieval sets and steck buildings, all the Victorian sets... a couple of dozen more Victorian mansions :love: all the western steck buildings.... a couple of trains... and much much more! :love: :love:

you can open the half and keep the others misb, since you'll have all sets ever produced twice :) , so plenty of toys to play with :D :D
ahhhhhh I wish that woulden't be only a dream, but I would be disapointed to have only 2 5300's but all sets ever produced :( :( ;D ;D

You have the right idea, I'd love to have my playmobil zoo, in real life scale, but with real animals in it, and then have the miniature version set up on display under plexiglass at the entry, instead of a map. ;D

As far as sets that have been released, I have most of what I want. Of course I have some yet to be released dream sets. Those aside, however, my dream would be to have unlimited access to Playmobil's parts department and a giant room, like a basement, for my collection. The bedroom that I'm using right now just isn't big enough.

Heh well if it would go as far that I'd be a billionaire and could really afford to have big and crazy dreams, I'd hire an exposition hall and put it full with playmobil, all purchased and set up by me.
I'd set up a huge medieval diorama with multible small cities with a castle, for the different factions and include a forest, bridges and rivers, harbours and everything in it. Kind of a small kingdom.
Aside from that I'd also do something similar with a western diorama.. making an enviroment with cliffs, canyons, rivers and all that, with indian villages, a town, a train going all around it, a gold miners camp and both a northern and southern fort.
For pirates I'd make a wealthy port town guarded by soldiers, a small island group with some pirate hide outs and treasure islands, and quite a few ships.
And then I'd also get into romans and egyptians, for their own diorama.. Probably with a roman island and a part of an egyptian desert seperated by sea.
And best of all, I'd pay people to keep it dust free. ;D

Of course, I'd love to buy all the vintage city life sets, but that's just wishful thinking. ;)
Realistically, I would like to track down all my missing pieces and set up my city in the Playmo den. :)

Oh yes, a whole room just for Playmobil would be fantastic. I would build an enormous Hogwarts castle and set it up there, plus smaller tables for our other collections...ah...dream

This is a great thread and very interesting particularly like Tonguello'ss idea and Rhalius's kingdoms sized dioramas wow can just imagine it beautful.
As for me I'm a toy collector in general to add to my collection of Playmo gradually alognside my AMen and other things which interest me, I'd be happy enough with a smallish house with plenty of organised space to display my prides and joys in a smart fashion so any visitiors would go wow instead of looking at you as though you're crazy, in terms of content more focused on 90's - early 2000's or in other words what I saw and remember from when I was a kid particularly the sets I owned or which strike poignant chord with me I like all themes although I think that Western and Pirate themes I'd really enjoy collecting and I've always liked Knights and am trying to collect pieces for a Medieval themed fayre/fate with a modern audience. After that I'd like to collect some bits which I can use to set up a gardening diorama or at least tools and accesories which relates to me, my work and the people I work with and just generally figures and accessories that I like.

I now have a attic with is packed... its only 12 mtr by 6mtr.. and stack to the roof....
and I also want to have all the BIG dolls...
but a own playmobil funpark is my biggest dream......
But........ maybe... you never know... there isn't a park in Holland so keep dreaming

NEW 5ft doll futureplanet and a display and a very big sign..
oww and a doll in the garden and one in the shed and I think there is an display overthere too LOL]

I think my little fellas from my childhood are just glad that I kept them all this time and that I'm bringing them some new friends, my little Policeman seemed particularly happy when I shared my raisins with him ;) ;D

My 4 Playmobil-Dreams:
1) A specific house (which is rented out) of my dad becomes available to me to move to in the near future, as there is a room big enough where I could completely set up my 18th-century Carribean Island-diorama and the naval fleets.
2) Geobra releases a "Unicorn"-class 3940/5135-based trimaster so people don't have to customize such ships themselves anymore.
3) A gigantic oil-well is discovered in Dietenhofen or Zirndorf so Geobra can produce plastic much cheaper and prices of Playmo go drastically down.
4) Horst Brandstätter declares in his will that I'm allowed forever free & full acces at wish to DS-spare parts (shortly afterwards he is declared totally insain but the papers were already signed).

My dream is to finish my barn so that I can move all my stuff out there and finally have room to set up
all (upon taking stock of what I have) some of it ;D but I should be able to store all of it... at least for a couple more years... maybe :lol:
I also want a Life size klicky... a good one, from an awesome theme... or Santa... that would probably be the best one (provided I only got 1) because then I could set him around the house at Christmas.
