Title: Paris 2014 International Convention, 40 Jahre Playmobil

Hi folks

The other day I had the president from Générations Playmo (Fabien) on the phone

He would like to organize an international Playmo convention in Paris
with his association  "Générations Playmo"

The tought behind : It would be in Paris , so a possibillity to visit Paris
It would be the 40e birthday from Playmobil
What Playmobil will do, we don't know yet

it would be the long weekend : 29/05   30/05   31/05   01/06   2014

Before to take action, he would like to know, if the were people interested to participate


As : Visitor
       Exposant
       Seller
       anything else ?

Details ,like Hotel,  how to get there will follow if we find enough interested

I'll keep you up to date

Is there going to be one in Germany too, organized by fans/collectors?
I ask because I'm pretty sure the German fans/collectors will want to hold a celebration-convention/exhibition themselves, in their homecountry. If so, I think it should be best to have some time between such major events.

Playmobil themselves are going to hold a big exhibition in Germany, from november 2013 to  June 2014.

It's a great idea, just a bad time as that is a "Black Out" period at work since it falls around the US Memorial Day

It would be great awesome if Playmobil could sell spare parts there. Or would that be too difficult to organize?

Goebra has a hard enough time dealing with the way it is now. I would just like to see them computerize the whole process. Just like the normal sets are bought but with parts only. Prices, inventories, availability instantly  ;)

I'm thinking serious to attend as visitors but i would like also to present also my medieval collection there.I can say to you that i would do my best and i prefer best to be part of the convention.But i can not tell for sure from now because things are very tricky here in Greece.

About spreading this to other forums: I suggest you create an event page for this at pcc.pm. Maybe that's the way to reach most Playmobil communities.

I'd love to be there Michael! And mostly with a diorama! I can't imagine a better occasion to display my knights in a huge melee tournament. I will need an associate for the buildings, though. I live in Paris! 😃
